Celebrating Mom with Epiphany Crafts

Tuesday, April 30, 2013

Hello crafty friends!

I've got a lovely Mother's Day gift idea today!

Mothers are very special people. Why not make your mom a homemade card and mini gift box to brighten her day?

First up is a card. I used Epiphany Crafts Square 25 Button Studio Tool and Square 25 Clear Button Caps. I used lovely paper from American Crafts to make the buttons too.

I also made a mini box to go along with the card. I used the Lifestyle Crafts Treat Box Die to make it.

I've added more Ephiphany Crafts square buttons to the box as well. I will be sure to add some sweet chocolate to the inside of the box just for Mom!

What do you have planned for Mother's Day?

A RootBeer Party with Epiphany Crafts & American Crafts

Thursday, April 25, 2013

*(Keep reading - the giveaway winner is posted below)

I've got a fun project today that features a match-up of goodies from both Epiphany Crafts and American Crafts.

I'm a teacher and the school year is coming to an end. My mind is already on summer. In fact, I'm already planning our family's summer pool parties. This year I want the festivities to include my favorite drink - ROOTBEER!

The tall bottles are IBC Rootbeer. They are just the right size and shape to add paper and embellies.  I found it best to use papers from the same collection. This made it easy to coordinate the button design.

The bottle sleeves were made with the Lifestyle Crafts Drink Sleeve Die. I also used Epiphany Crafts'  Round 25 Button Studio Tool and Round 25 Clear Button Caps for this project.

I used the American Crafts Dear Lizzy - Lucky Charm paper to decorate a mini can of A & W Rootbeer. And of course I added a coordinating button that I made with the Epiphany Crafts Button Round Tool.

I hope you all enjoyed the fun "Rootbeer Party" today!

P.S. - The GCD giveaway winner is....

It's Rachel's Time to Create!

Friday, April 19, 2013

My daughter Rachel is the special guest today!

She has a fun project that she made all by herself using goodies from Clear Scraps!

{please excuse the red marks. I forgot to photograph this before her teacher graded it. - oops!}

Rachel is not into scrappin' like I am - (sad face).

She'd rather listen to One Direction ...

Go to a movie ...

or shop.

But a girl must do her homework....so...here's her creation.

Rachel's spanish teacher assigned the class a project where they all had to make a book and write an orginal story.

The story is all in espanol and is about a Little Owl's first day of school. She used Clear Scraps 6 x 6 chipboard album and Nikki Silvil's School is Cool collection.

Rachel was so excited to get an "A" on this project! Several students even commented on how cute her book is. It's always good to have a mom with scrapbook supplies in the house right? (smile)

If your kiddo ever needs supplies for their school projects, be sure to check out the Clear Scraps store for loads of fun products.

I love gifting, so my new fave is the Tall Box template.

The set comes with one solid tall box, one with a window cut out, one with 4 window cut outs, 8 sentiments, and one window frame.

I made this one using paper and embellies from the Dear Lizzy - Lucky Charm collection.

Epiphany Crafts Embellie Buckets

Wednesday, April 10, 2013

I've got a fun Epiphany Crafts project today!

Keep reading to see the details of my project.

Also check me out on the EC Blog - Click HERE!

I'm headed to a crop night next week and made something fun for the ladies who will be attending. These are my homemade "Embellishment Buckets". I used the Epiphany Crafts Round 25 Button Studio Tool and Round 25 Clear Button Caps to make the button embellies.

I used paper from Heidi Grace's Cartwheel collection. Here's my tip for today - when using the EC round tool make sure you pick paper that has images that you can center within each button. This will make your round button "pop".

Place your favorite embellishments in each bucket. You can add ribbon, clothespins, or your own Ephiphany Crafts custom buttons.

Here's another fun idea - - - You can also use your EC custom made buttons to make toothpick embellies.

I hope you all enjoyed my fun little project!
