A Monday Morning Party

Happy Monday everyone!

I've got a party going on and a special offer for everyone today!

Have you heard of Lifestyle Crafts? They have some super amazing products and I want to show one of them to you today. And they have allowed me to share a special offer too.

Just enter the promo code "COKIE" at checkout to receive 20% off of your order. How cool is that?

I made these favor boxes using the Popcorn Box Die.
They are so super cute for party decor or party favors.

Did you know that Lifestyle Crafts dies work with these die cutting machines:
 Epic 6
Big Shot
Vagabond
Cuttlebug, and more...

If you already have a die cutting machine then you will want to add the Popcorn Box die to your collection.

The adorable Birthday banners are from Pretty Little Studio. And for extra added fun - be sure to use double sided paper when you use the dies. It's so fun to have a pretty pattern on the inside of the design too.

I'll be showing off more Lifestyle Crafts products each week so stay tuned!

Here's the CPS Sketch

I made a baby card for one of my co-workers who is excited about the arrival of her first grandchild. Now it's your turn! Pop on over to CPS and play. The Twinery is sponsoring this week and is giving away a fabulous Sampler Pack of baker's twine.

And if you like the yummy baker's twine colors that I used on my card, you can find the Honey Dew and Shore colors in The Twinery Shop!

See back tomorrow for a fun new project!

Love Bots

My students and I are munching on yummy chocolates,
cupcakes, and cookies today!
{Hopefully I won't gain 10 pounds by the time the dismissal bell rings}

I made these "Love Bots" creations to pass out at school today.

I'm wishing you all a Happy Valentine's Day!

Hey Monday!

I smiled when I first saw this little dude!

He is really an embellishment for a Smash Book...but I wanted to use him to make a card. I always make girly cards and want to start making some masculine ones too. This one is for the fun Create Blog challenge (ribbon tabs).

For a bit of fun I added some canvas and of course my ribbon tabs. The striped ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Hope you like this little dude as much as I do!

Card Supplies:
Cardstock: Stampin Up!
Paper: My Mind's Eye: Deck the Halls
"Nice Tie" Smash Mark: EK Success
Fabric Alphas: Amy Tangerine for American Crafts
Ribbon: Really Reasonable Ribbon
Misc.: Canvas

Creating With Wood - Day 3 - Samantha Walker Hop

Welcome to Day 3 of "Creating With Wood"! I am also having fun today with the Samantha Walker Blog Hop!

If this is your first stop, you will want to click {HERE} to the spot where the hop begins.

If you missed Day 1 of the series click - {Here}
If you missed Day 2 click of the series - {Here}

Now let the hop fun begin!

My first project is an altered wooden rolling pin. I dressed it up with Samantha Walker's Orchard Harvest paper. This could serve as great table decor or a great addition to a gift basket.

You can find all of Samantha's products in the Creative Imaginations store {Here}

And here's a coordinating card made with more of S.W. Orchard Harvest paper & die-cuts. {I added a wooden button to this one}

Did you know that the Kokeshi Paper Digi Kit and the Cuckoo 4U True Blue Papers are on sale this week? Here's a third project made using the adorable Kokeshi girls. I made cupcake toppers using wooden skewers. :)

You can find all of Samantha's digi kits in the Jessica Sprague store {Here}.

Your next stop on the hop is the wonderful Jennifer Evans' blog.

This month, Samantha is giving away a set of Spellbinders dies…the Blossom tags and Accents set!

Also, sign up for an e-mail subscription to Samantha's blog and you will automatically receive a link to a free SVG cutting file that you can download and use on your personal electronic cutter.

Creating with Wood - Day 2

If you missed Day 1 in the series please click {HERE}

Welcome back to Day 2 of "Creating with Wood". I'm having some fun on my blog this week by creating various projects with wood elements on them. Today's post will feature wooden skewers and mini wooden clothespins.

I also created a CAS card for the

I was inspired by the movie "Baby Mama" with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. I laugh so much every time that I see this one. It's one of my fave comedies. :)

I really love using wooden skewers. If you don't want to buy any, just ask your waiter or waitress to snag you some before you leave your fave restaurant. :)

I made this elephant skewer to stick inside of a cupcake for a baby shower.

I hope you all are enjoying the series this week. Stop back by tomorrow for Day 3 of "Creating with Wood". The Samantha Walker Blog Hop will debut tomorrow too. :)
