A Happy Graduation Party!

Tuesday, February 25, 2014

Rachel will be graduating in June.

It's an exciting time and there's so much to do before the celebrating begins.

I couldn't wait to use SRM's newest graduation products to make some fun party favors for her.

I placed an embossed SRM glassine bag inside of a clear boxI then decorated the outside of the box with an SRM doily and graduation stickers.

You can easily place gift cards, money, or any other type of gift into the box.

I found these chalkboard picks at my local craft store. I added more SRM grad stickers to decorate the wooden stick.

And check out these graduation pencils. They are a fun item to add to the gift box.

I hope you enjoyed my Happy Graduation craft project!

I'm So Ready for Summer!

It's "Scraplift Week" over on the Imaginisce blog!

I love making altered projects and decided to scraplift one of Cari Locken's projects. I just love the altered journal that she made using Imaginisce's Black Ice collection.

Here's my take on her journal. I used the new Perfect Vacation collection. A travel journal is a great idea for summer road trips. You can keep the kiddos busy with a fun activity too. They can write about the journey and have a place to collect their souvenirs.

Here's a close up of the cover. I even added a mini pencil for the kiddos.

I added glassine bags to some of the pages. You can insert more travel papers from the Perfect Vacation collection into the bags along with souvenirs.

I am so ready for summer!!!!

Supply List:
Imaginisce: patterned paper (Perfect Vacation)
Imaginisce: My Baby Gems
Stash: Ribbon, twine, glassine bag, mini pencil

Jinny's Surprise Baby Shower

Saturday, February 8, 2014

We're having a baby shower today!

Our sweet bloggy friend Jinny Newlin just gave birth to an adorable baby boy!

We are so happy for you Jinny. Babies are a gift from God!

Be sure to hop on over to this post to see his sweet little face! And a big thanks to Julie for organizing this event!

My card is full of baby boy cuteness. I used the new My Baby collection from Imaginisce. The die cut shapes and tags are so fun to use. The paper is also perfect for boys. And check out the doily. It's one of the new products from SRM Stickers.

Be sure to visit all of the ladies that are participating in this event!
