My first project includes some sweet treats that are wrapped with colorful paper. Lifestyle Crafts Shape Basic Envelope Tabs are perfect for this type of project.

Documenting this Sweet Face

Friday, December 27, 2013

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!

I'm popping in today with a new layout of my cutie pie nephew. My sister took this picture of him while he was enjoying yummy snack time. I love the expression on his face and had to document this fun moment.

I used the Creative Scrappers sketch for this one!

Did you notice the fun element that I added to the top of the photo? I used some paper confetti shreds. I think it adds an interesting touch to the page.

The paper, stickers, and embellishments are from the CTMH - Babycakes collection. The wooden "documented" piece is from The Paper Bakery.

The journaling is from a poem that I found online about little boys. I think it fits so well with the photo!

I hope you all enjoy your weekend! I'll be popping in with more new projects!!!

Happy Noon Year Fun!

Friday, December 20, 2013

New Year's Eve is not only for adults!

How about hosting a daytime party for the kiddos & teens in your life?

Throw them a "Noon Year's Eve Party"!!!!

Start the countdown, grab your fave snacks, turn up the music, and set a fun and festive table.

I used some fun SRM products for this one. The Say it with Stickers - New Year and Express Yourself - New Year are so perfect to use for projects like this.

You can use real champagne flutes for teens and plastic ones for the smaller kiddos.

Place popcorn, candy, or sparkling apple cider in the glasses.

I also made some place cards using SRM Stickers too!

It's a safe and fun way to ring in the New Year!

Products:
SRM Stickers: Say it with Stickers - #39043
SRM Stickers: Express Yourself - New Year's - #42029
Paper: SEI - Holiday Traditions

I'm so happy for them!

Wednesday, December 18, 2013

Good morning everyone! I wanted to pop in today to share a very special card. I made this one for a fellow teacher and her husband. They have long battled with infertility. I truly believe that God is always with us even through difficult times.

Well, he had a plan for these two. He has blessed them with not only one child, but two. They have adopted a brother and sister who needed a good home.

Adoption is a beautiful thing. The important thing to remember is that having parents that love you, whether biological or chosen, is a tremendous gift. They are going to be awesome parents to these two beautiful children.

I just love this quote that I found online...

They may not have my eyes, they may not have my smile, but they have all my heart.
{-author unknown-}

I used the Babycakes collection from Close to My Heart for this one. I just love the colors and the adorable giraffe.

I'm playing along in the Seize the Sketch challenge!

Be sure to stop back by later on this week. I've got a fun New Year's project to show ya!
