Can you believe that I'm still working on my vacation album???

We took so many photos when we visited sunny California this past summer. I'm still not caught up. I'm making a couple of pages a week. I may have to resort to making Project Life pages for the rest of this album! (wink! wink!)

And check out the wording on my minion photo. I used the Rhonna Designs app on my phone. It printed out so well. I must do this more often!

Here are some close-up shots. I wanted to keep a fun and playful theme to the page. I used a lot of paper and goodies from Doodlebug Design. The other embellies are from American Crafts and Crate Paper's Maggie Holmes collection. 

I used the Inspired Blueprints sketch for this one.

Mommy Day Mania & Exciting News

Happy Mother's Day Ya'll

I've got news to share today too. Keep reading to the end to see.

First, it's a SPECIAL Mommy Day for my sweet sister! After years of miscarriages she is finally getting to enjoy her first Mother's Day with sweet little Tristan. God truly delivered a miracle to Nicole, John, and the rest of my family.

And I must say that I was inspired to make this mini because of the talented Monika Wright. Have you ever seen her mini albums? She is my "Mini Album Idol". Be sure to check out her creations.

 Page highlights are below. Hope you like my mini album. They are soooo fun to make. I got the album, paper, and chipboard from the Paper Issues shop. I used goodies from Maggie Holmes, Echo Park, GCD Studios, K & Company, and My Mind's Eye. The cute fuzzy owl is from Target.

I'm Turning Into a Geeky Stamper

I must admit...I'm really starting to get {ADDICTED} to stamping.

I still can't believe it myself! It's sooo fun!

What really got me inking up more are the wonderful kits at The Paper Made Bakery. I used the April Kit called - "Vintage Daydream" for this one. The stamp is from Fresh Squeezed Stamps and is included in the March kit.

Another confession.....I'm really, really, really proud of myself. You just don't know how much improvement I've made. (I've been practicing my stamping like crazy). That's why I had to show off this card today. (insert sheepish grin)

Here's my next accomplishment - {heat embossing}

Yes, I know....I know... I'm so behind on this stamping thing. I'm slowly but surely learning from you stamping fanatics.

Please let me know if you have any stamping tips for me. I really want to know where I can find some sort of clear stamp block with guide lines on it. This will help me stamp straight on the paper. Please help a sistah out with some recommendations! (Don't be afraid to be an enabler).
