A Smooch Smile Box

Monday, April 29, 2013

Happy Monday ya'll!

The design team term has ended at The Cutting Cafe and the new team will be starting this week. I just wanted to pop in with a farewell project.

Regina Easter is the sweetest! I just love her templates and cutting files. I will be a life-long customer for sure.

I have named this one - "A Smile Smooch Box". I love sending happy mail to my crafty friends. This one will be filled with bottles of Clearsnap's Smooch pearly accents. The paper is from GCD Studio's Pure Bliss collection. I also used my favorite template - the  Heart Bag Cutting File/Template.

And here are some of my fave projects that I've made using The Cutting Cafe products.

Valentine's Day Air Mail Printable

It's Really, Really Tall!

Wednesday, April 17, 2013

Did you know that there are loads of fun templates and cutting files at The Cutting Cafe?

(P.S. - I'm also playing along in the Moxie Fab World's Tuesday Trigger Challenge. I think my project fits in so well with the inspiration this week.)

I love gifting, so my new fave is the Tall Box template.

The set comes with one solid tall box, one with a window cut out, one with 4 window cut outs, 8 sentiments, and one window frame.

I made this one using paper and embellies from the Dear Lizzy - Lucky Charm collection.

Trendy Travel Postcard

Tuesday, April 9, 2013

Two more months to go and I'll be off for the summer!
{that's just one of the perks of being a teacher}

Travel is on my mind and I've creative a fun gift bag using The Cutting Cafe's Postcard Printable set.

The printable set features two different postcards. The images are approx. 4 by 6 inches. It comes in both PDF and JPEG formats.

I've added a fun hot air balloon and "adventure" label from Pink Paislee's Daily Junque collection.

I adhered the postcard to a kraft bag and will fill it with fun souvenirs for friends once I come back from our summer vacation. You can also add them to a card or layout as well.

See ya back here tomorrow for a BRAND NEW project!

Next up is a fun springtime project for The Cutting Cafe. This time I used the Tall Flower Shaped Card Set.

It comes with 3 different flower shaped cards and 10 sentiments. You can find all of the goodies in the CC Store. The polka dotted paper is from Dear Lizzy - Lucky Charm.

Are you enjoying springtime in your area yet?

I'm having some camera fun today as I show off my latest creation for The Cutting Cafe.

And are you guys addicted to Instagram like I am?

Please leave a note in the comments below if you are on the site.
{I'd love to follow you.}

I really love the Cutting Cafe's Camera Photo Shaped Holder Template.

My girly camera was made using some Dear Lizzy - Lucky Charm paper and embellies. I made the kraft butterfly using my Stampin' Up punch.

My camera is a flat notecard, however there are so many uses for this file. It also includes a holder that is capable of holding up to ten 4" x 6" photos. There are several fun sentiments with this set too. See this post for more details.

See ya back here tomorrow for another fun-filled project!

Today is all about the fun goodies at The Cutting Cafe!
{The design team is also adding in a splash of green on our projects today.}

I used the Birthday Fun Printable Stamp Set to make a card & candy bucket. This gift set is doing double duty.

A friend of mine is celebrating her birthday and Easter all on the same day! How cool is that?

The bunny and the froggy are from Walmart. I found them in the aisle with all of the Easter goodies.

This cute little bunny is actually from the Bunny Treat Box. This file is so versatile. You can make so many fun Easter crafts with it.

I turned it into a flat card and added some baker's twine from The Twinery for the whiskers. And the mini tube is from SRM Stickers. (You can add any yummy Easter candy treat into the tube).

Dress It Up for Spring!

Wednesday, February 20, 2013

Whew!!! The past five days are all a blur to me. My daughter just went back to San Diego yesterday and I'm just now getting back to blog land. We had so much fun hanging out with family and friends!!!

Here are some springtime gift bags that I made for Rebekah to give to her college buddies. I used a couple of goodies from The Cutting Cafe for this project.

I turned the Postage Stamp Shaped Card into a flat note card and adhered it to the front of a kraft bag.

I also printed out a goodie from the One Spring Day Set and added it to the tag on the bag. All of the goodies all mixed together are so perfect for spring.

Be sure to hop on over to The Cutting Cafe and dress up your own gift bag!

Pez Candy Crafts

Wednesday, February 13, 2013

I love Pez Candy and Hello Kitty!

So does my my oldest daughter Rebekah! She is flying in from San Diego today. She attends college out there. We have missed her so much!!!

I made a fun Valentine's Day treat for her using The Cutting Cafe's Valentine's Day Air Mail Printable Set. I printed the tags onto kraft cardstock. This set features two different tag designs. You can print them in color or black & white.

Here's Hello Kitty all dressed up with one of the Valentine Tags Printables. This set features 8 tags and works with Stampin' Up's large tag punch.

I got the bird cage and Hello Kitty Pez set from Michael's Arts & Crafts store. I think I'm going to add some chocolate to this gift set too!

I hope you all have a Happy Valentine's Day!

Seed Packets With a Twist

Wednesday, February 6, 2013

I just love The Cutting Cafe's Seed Packet Holders.  You can make them in many different ways too!!!

There are various seed packets templates/files in the set. You can make the plain one (like I did), one with a flower window, or one with a square window.

I call mine - "Seed Packets with a Twist" because I did not add the window. Instead I dressed the front of them up with paper and embellies.

This set also comes with 33 different sentiments as well. I printed the sentiments out on my handy dandy printer and adhered them to each packet. Here's a close up view of one of them.

The photo below was taken in my classroom. I added a seed packet to my artificial plant. It really brightens it up and looks great by the window.

We are already enjoying springtime temperatures here in Texas. I am sooo loving the sunny weather! Be sure to visit The Cutting Cafe to see all of the fun products that are sure to get you in the mood for Spring!!!!

Happy Little Life!

Monday, January 28, 2013

I am literally surrounded by cuddly babies lately. One week ago my precious little nephew was born, and this weekend more cuteness came into the world. Several of my friends either gave birth or announced that they were preggers.

Check out my new baby girlie tag. I made several of these using The Cutting Cafe's Onesie Shaped Template. They are so perfect to attach to give bags and boxes.

I used American Crafts - Dear Lizzy - 5th and Frolic paper and embellishments on my project. These goodies really "dressed up" my onesie really well.

This onesie is so versatile for all types of projects. You can use it as a template or cutting file. You can also use the blank onesie or the one with words added. The possibilities are endless! Be sure to order yours here at The Cutting Cafe.

No Stamp Needed & A Winner!

Wednesday, January 23, 2013

It's been an exciting week in my family and I'm sooo behind on blog posts. So sorry for the delay in announcing the giveaway winner! Keep reading to the end to see who won!

And now I want to show you two fun projects featuring products from The Cutting Cafe!

Did you know that I have a crafting secret? Well...I'm going to confess it to you today. . . I'm not the greatest stamper! In fact, I have messed up loads of cardstock trying to get stamped images and sentiments done correctly.

That's why I love The Cutting Cafe's Valentine Mini Sentiments Printable Stamp Set. I can easily print out what I need and use it as background paper for cards, treat bags, and altered projects. It's so super easy and I don't have to deal with inky mistakes.

I first printed the sentiments out on white cardstock. I then used a shaped punch before adhering it to the treat bag and tin. I'm sending all of these treats to my daughter Rebekah and her college buddies in California. They love to get goodies in the mail.

Be sure to check out all of the fun printables at The Cutting Cafe. And now it's time to announce the giveaway winner.

Congrats Miriam! I'll be sure to send you an email with the gift certificate details! Be sure to stop back by tomorrow for a little story about MIRACLES!

A Happy Return with The Cutting Cafe

Wednesday, January 16, 2013

It's my happy return to crafting day!

Hello crafty friends! I'm so happy to be back with all of you in blog land. The last couple of months have been super great for me. I'm feeling great and ready to craft again. Thank you all for your sweet cards in the mail, your thoughtful emails, and your warm thoughts of well wishes. I really appreciate your kindness.

Now it's time to check out my project for The Cutting Cafe. Did you hear? I'm now on their design team. I am so super excited to work with Regina Easter and the rest of her talented crew.

I used the Heart Bag Cutting File/Template for this Valentine's Day project. I wanted to make something feminine to give to the two students that I mentor at school.

There are so many ways to use The Cutting Cafe's products. And did you know that you can print out the templates using the PDF file and score where needed to make this box? That's what I did on this project. I also printed out the heart as well.

Be sure to check out these two helpful links to guide you when using your cutting machine or printer.

Thanks for checking out my fun project today. Be sure to stop back by tomorrow for a NEW project and a fun GIVEAWAY!
