Skip the Store - Make Your Own Gift Box

Wednesday, August 6, 2014

It's time for some gift box love!

I love making them especially when a fun die arrives in my mailbox. I made this one after receiving a box of goodies from We R Memory Keepers. The Rectangle Box is so fun especially if you use some colorful patterned paper!

You can also use this box in other ways! I'm using this one for birthday gifting! Just add a small gift or some sweets and you've got the perfect present.

I also used the butterfly die from the Pop Up Box Die. I layered it and added some bling. The birthday sentiment is from SRM Stickers.

Don’t forget you can use the code COKIE to receive 20% off the items I used in this project & on any other We R Memory Keepers or Lifestyle Crafts products when you shop HERE

Have a happy & crafty day!

Play Date Cafe - Playful Paper Pockets

Thursday, August 23, 2012

It's back to school time and I've got some fun projects for ya today that I made for my students and fellow teachers.

I have named this one  - "Playful Paper Pockets"

And be sure to play along with us at The Play Date Cafe. We've got a beautiful color story for you today. The colors are - Black, White, and a splash of Lime Green.

We got to play with some wonderful SRM Stickers this week too!

I made this pocket to give to one of my students this school year. I love to make gifts for them when they show respect, good manners, help out a fellow classmate, or work extra hard on a project. I used SRM's - Year of Memories - 2013 Sticker. I added a small wooden pencil on the inside. I will also add a granola bar or some other treat as well.

And this one is for a fellow teacher. I love to give my co-workers something crafty for their birthday. I will add a gift card to this pocket. I used SRM's - Stickers by the Dozen - Birthday.

Be sure to play along and link up on the PDCC blog. And remember, your project can be anything crafty just as long as it follows this week's color story!

Summer Lanterns

Friday, July 13, 2012

I've got something fun today!

This one is fun for outdoor summer parties. In fact, I just made these paper lanterns to use as table decor for my family's pool party last weekend. Of course I dressed them up in yummy baker's twine from The Twinery!

The lanterns are made using my Lifestyle Crafts Lantern Die! The flowers are made using the Scallop Doilies Die.

You can order the Lantern Die {HERE} and save 20% Off using Promo Code - COKIE

These dies work in the Big Shot, Epic 6, Cuttlebug, and all leading die cutters.

The Twinery Twine is the fabulous "Lilac" color! You can find it in the Shop - {HERE}

I've got one other tip to share - If you sit these out on a windy day, it is best to place small candle holders on the inside to weight them down. And be sure to use some brightly colored Twinery Twine to add more sunshine to your outdoor event.

Have a Happy Weekend!

Celebrating - Gingham Style!

Monday, May 21, 2012

Several of my friends are having birthdays this month, so I've made a bunch of new cards to celebrate the occasion.

I love gingham and added some of it to the center of my card and to the little flag. Since I love playing in the Moxie Fab World - I'm also linking this up to their Gingham Challenge.

I kept the design CAS and simple and used die-cuts from Pretty Little Studios. I also cut my own die-cut circle full of polka dots with my circle die and Epic 6. I'm also linking this up to the fun Casual Fridays - "Punchy" Challenge.

Have a Happy Monday!

My Dear Daughter Rebekah is home from college for the summer. Woo Hoo!  Gotta hurry and post this so we can get our fun day started.

The UPS guy knocked on my door a couple of days ago. I tore open the box...and immediately created this page. The paper is from my winnings from SRM Stickers. Love this new paper by Bazzill called Grandma's Feather Bed.
