Happy Rainbow!

Monday, June 27, 2011

I'm baaaacckkk! The girls and I took a short mini-vaca for some R&R. It was nice to take a small break and get refreshed. Now I gotta clean house, do laundry, and get back to crafting. :)

By the way...Don'tcha just love Rainbows?
Everytime I see one it always makes me smile.

I won a spot in {Jennifer Mcguire & Kristina Werner's Online Summer Card Camp 2011} so I will be making lots & lots of cards during the next 4 weeks.

This is my card for week 1.

I'm also linking up at the {Embellish Rainbow Color Trends Challenge}.

Here's a close-up.
I made a rainbow out of "Happy Faces".

I also used rainbow colored striped paper from Echo Park. I popped up the journal sticker, added twine, a button, and "happy" sentiment.

I've got a couple of more new projects to share this week. I'll be back on Wednesday with a new design. Now I gotta hop over and check out your blogs to see what you've been creating while I've been gone.

Hope you all are enjoying your summer!
I sure am!

Card Supplies:
Cardstock (Stampin Up!); Patterned Paper (Echo Park - Life is Good); Smiley Face Embellishment Stickers (Jolee's); Journal Label (Studio G); Happy Sentiment Sticker (Momenta); Twine (Really Reasonable Ribbon); Button (Pebbles)

Canvas Love Note!

Sunday, February 6, 2011

My mojo is in high gear sooo... I found time to play along in two of my fave challenges before the weekend ends.

Here is a close up shot. Love these canvas hearts from Canvas Corp.

I also used my square scallop punch on my paper and topped it with a heart button from Pink Paislee.  I'm loving twine lately. Had to add that too!

I'm entering my Canvas Love Note Card into the
Moxie Fab World - Tuesday Trigger challenge.

And the Embellish Challenge is back in full swing.
Of course I had to enter there too! :)

Happy Super Bowl Sunday & Enjoy Your Weekend!

Kraft Cardstock (Bazzill); Canvas Heart (Canvas Corp.); Patterned Paper (Fancy Pants Designs- Dancing Girl); Pattern Paper on Scallop Square (Stampin Up! - Play Date Designer Series Paper); Heart Button (Pink Paislee - Sweetness Collection); Buttons (Basic Grey); Twine (Stampin Up!)

Embellish a Bag - Have Some Fun!

Monday, November 8, 2010

Hello crafty friends. Sorry that I did not blog much last week. I have been working on projects for several surprise announcements coming up on my blog. Shhhhhhhh.....can't reveal anything now but stay tuned to find out all of the GREAT NEWS I received last week.

Today I wanted to share my latest altered project. I'm making gift bags for most of my gift giving this year. I designed it after getting inspiration over at Embellish Magazine and their fun "Bags - Color Challenge".

I also entered this over at Paper Issues for their Scallop Challenge.
I didn't like the plain white handles on this bag, so I covered them with black ribbon to dress it up a bit. Here's a picture of the white handle and one covered in ribbon.

I used shiny gray paper to frame the front of the bag. I also added gray tissue paper on the inside. I love patterned paper and used polka dot pink, polka dot black, and scallops on the bottom of the bag.

I was in Bath & Body Works on Saturday and they are selling these beautiful felt blooms. I got one in a dark pink color. I think it fits in so well with the color combo on the gift bag.

This was such a fun bag to make. Can't wait to show you some others that I'm making with a Christmas theme. Hope you all enjoy the rest of your week. Stay tuned to the blog this week for more new projects and surprise announcements.

Supplies:
Gift bag: Michael's craft store; Glitter tag: TPC Studios - Girlfriends; Patterned Paper: October Afternoon - This Little Piggy and The Girls Paperie - Paper Girl; Felt Flower - Bath & Body Works
