His Plush Buddies

Monday, September 9, 2013

Happy Monday ya'll!

I worked on more pages this weekend for Tristan's scrapbook. This one features the little guy with his "plush buddies". He loves his stuffed animals.

He was not real happy in this photo though. It was his first photo shoot and he was not in a good mood. He kept flinching every time he heard the camera click. Poor thing! He pays close attention to sounds and movement. I hope he gets used to having his picture taken. I'm trying to get more pages done! (smile)

I layered loads of Basic Grey paper and embellies on this one. And check out that "Big Guy" brad. It's from GCD Studios.

I used Delightful Inspiration's fun sketch. I saw it on Julie and Debbie's blog and just had to play along. Single photo sketches are my fave.

I hope you have a happy week!

Share Your Smile!

Monday, August 22, 2011

It's "Happy 1st Day of School" for many of us today. I'm praying that all goes well this year! I don't have a school project to share, but I wanted to show off a little something that I made using the goodies & sketch from Artful Delight!

Also, I'm sooo lovin' the Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger - Girly & Gutsy challenge. I think my project fits right in.

I made this using 3" x 3" chipboard, covered it with paper, punched a hole in the top left corner, added a flower, a metal ring and this pretty Really Reasonable Ribbon. It's the perfect little "Girly Gift" to make someone SMILE!

I added my own Prima flower that I won
from Fern's wonderful blog candy.

 Love the sentiment.
It's part of the Authentique goodies in the kit.

I hope you all have a Fabulous week!

It's Bekah's Day & Clue #2

Wednesday, August 3, 2011

Happy Wednesday ya'll!

My blog post is serving two different purposes today. One is to show off my oldest daughter {Rebekah} while she's home from college. The second is to show off the {wonderful} August Kit that I received from Leeanne at Artful Delight. Thanks so much Leeanne!

Bekah performs a lot in plays and musicals. She comes alive on stage, but hates having her picture taken...{go figure}...{sigh}. I've had to literaly follow her around all summer {forcing her} to pose.

Now...more about this gorgeous Artful Delight kit. {I used their August sketch}. Don'tcha just love the flower and the metal brad? I layered it with some paper flowers using my SU punch. A pack of glitter flourishes are also in the kit. Love it on the page.

I used my Martha Stewart butterfly punch on the paper. I topped them with some Creative Charms gems and a metal butterfly.

I also did a bit of {upcycling}. The raffia ribbon under the photo was actually wrapped around the pretty packaging that Leeanne sent me with the kit. It's always fun to use recycled items.

I'm off to do some packing and organizing. I'm actually getting to meet some friends out in blog land at a local crop in a couple of days. So exciting to actually meet the people behind the blog. :)

And don't forget about this...the suspense is building...

A Delightful Day

Saturday, July 23, 2011

Happy Weekend Everyone!

What's on the schedule this weekend? We are going to enjoy a delightful Saturday and do some outside activities.

Before I begin my day I wanted to share a card that I made with the fun sketch at Artful Delight.

I popped up some cute Stampin Up! stickers on this card and used my American Crafts paper stash. I just love these little owls.

And a {Big Thank You} to all who entered my "Gifting Challenge" over at Do More With Less. Congrats to Lynn and Erin. Both of your gift projects are absolutely fabulous. I will get your prize packs out to you guys next week.

Have a Happy Weekend!
