A 90's Inspired Thank You

Monday, February 11, 2013

Songs from 1990's are on my mind today!

I had so much fun watching the Grammy Awards last night. Hearing all of that great music made me think of all of my fave songs.

A song that I really love is one from 1998 by Dido. Remember her????? It's called "Thank You" . If you want to hear the song be sure to click "here" to view it on Youtube. It's a really beautiful and relaxing ballad that was popular way back then. Here are some of the lyrics...

And I want to thank you for giving me
The best day of my life
Ohh, just to be with you is having
The best day of my life

And since we are on the subject of songs...I'm entering this one over into the Cas-ual Fridays Challenge. I'm really having a whole lotta fun making CAS cards.

I used a birdie from 7 Gypsies and an SRM "Quick Card Thanks" sticker. I left a lot of white space on this one to really make the CAS design stand out more.

Now tell me...What is your fave song? And did you watch the Grammy's last night? I really loved Justin Timberlake's performance. I'm so glad to see him back in action!!!

The pattern on that bird is really fun! I didn't watch the Grammy's. I have a different favorite song depending on the day. *LOL* One of my all time favorites is Nelly's Just a Dream.

I am sad to say that I missed the Grammy's this year. Boo! But I do remember that Dido song, and I love it, too.
Gorgeous CAS card, Angi! Love the combo of vintage print on the bird mixed with the text print die cut behind. Such a great visual pop against the white!
