My Thanksgiving project is "Give Thanks" Turkey placecards and Autumn potpourri. These are perfect to use in decorating your table. I have also placed them all around my living room.
I love to buy the small plastic container of flowers from my LSS. I got these in Autumn colors and lightly coated each flower with Bath & Body Works Autumn Apple Home Fragrance Oil. The scent is of autumn apples with pear blossoms and a hint of applewood. Wonderful smells for the holidays. I love to do this to get the family in the mood for Thanksgiving.
This little card can be used for decor or as place settings. I added patterned paper from and "Give Thanks" ribbon from The Paper Studio to each of these. I actually recycled the turkey from a greeting card that I received. I love to recycle cards and make projects with them.
I have a special Thanksgiving prize to offer during this fun hop. It's the Teresa Collins Chipboard "Giving Thanks" album kit. It is filled with thoughts of thankfulness and gratitude. It includes: 12” x 12” double sided papers, die cut cardstock tags, One package of ribbon, Two chipboard book covers and four metal binding rings, Full color instructions, and more. The winner will be selected on November 28th. Good Luck!
Here's how to win:

My favorite memory of Thanksgiving goes years back when both my grandmothers were still living and they were both teaching me their special Thanksgiving recipe, one was cornbread dressing patties the other was oyster dressing. I still make both today just like they did. I am now a follower of your great blog
Angi, your projects are so fabulous and inspirational! I just became a follower!
Great idea for the flowers, I can almost smell them myself !! Place cards, what a good idea too!
Hugs !!
Our "tradition" is very ordinary traditional turkey meal. It's comforting that it's so simple and not over thought. I am loving these blog hops! Thanks so much! -Anna
I love that you spritzed the flowers - what a great idea and such a wonderful scent for this time of year!! Your set is wonderful and that turkey is so cute!! Love it!
Angi, I love the paper piecing of the Turkey - he is just too cute. And I really like your potpourri container. That is so clever to spray the flowers and something so simple, even I can do it! Hahaha!
Hi Angi. My favorite Thanksgiving memory has to be first walking into my grandmothers house and smelling the food from the moment you opened her door, and also her taste all of the great food she made. I am Puerto Rican & Irish, so we would always have our traditional turkery, pernil(pork shoulder), rice & beans, pastellas, potatoe salad(homemade of course). But, lastly, eating our traditional flan(taste like custard),apple & pumpkin pie, with the greatest cup of coffee, and talking about what comes next...CHRISTMAS!!!
HAPPY THANKGIVING TO YOU & YOURS!1

What a thoughtful gift, the flowers and I love that you scented them, oh I bet that smells good. I think the Thanksgiving that stands out is the year I decorated the center strip of the table with lots of maple leaves from the trees in our yard. It was just so pretty and felt so homey.

What a wonderful project Angi! I went to a craft fair last weekend and one of the venders was selling lots of different potpourri. It all smelled so wonderful and definitely gets me in the holiday mood. So glad your on the team and the hop. :)
Love your "scent" idea... I will give that a try. I love to have scented candles on, but don't have them on very often. (I have a 3 year old,) So, this will work for me!
Love the turkey on your card!! My favorite Thanksgiving memory growing up was watching "Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" with my family
OOps! Forgot to mention that I am a new follower.
What great projects! I LOVE the varied patterned paper for the turkey's feathers on the place card. That looks SO sharp!
My favourite Thanksgiving memory is actually pretty silly, but we were all getting ready to serve the food and a bun fell out of the bread basket and on to the floor. My sister just shouted out, "Bun down! Bun down!" and we all acted like it was the worst thing that could ever happen.
My favourite tradition, though, is singing "All Good Gifts Around Us" as our prayer before eating. We do this every Thanksgiving.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!!

Love the idea of the scented flowers--tfs. I always think back to Thanksgivings past when we had huge gatherings and my father would carve the turkey so expertly.
Thank you and God bless your Thanksgiving! I love your use of product packaging.
Well, I have never been involved in thanksgiving before, so guess this is the first one in memory. However, I have lots of things to be thankful for, and the blog land has a way of reminding you of these as you go through a year sharing others joys and sadness. I like to reuse lovely things in my cards as well - and the turkey is very sweet and someone has gone to a lot of trouble to create him. Well done.
Your turkey is fabulous. Okay my favorite memory is eating at my Great Grandmas house and her fabulous pies!
It's a good life!
