Samantha Walker Hop - New Goodies for You!

Wednesday, June 13, 2012

Welcome to the Samantha Walker Designs Creative Team Blog Hop!

If this is your first stop, you will want to click {HERE} to the spot where the hop begins!

My projects this month will showcase Samantha's new paper collections. I used the "Nautical" and the "Tea Party" paper and embellies. You can find these adorable collections in the Creative Imaginations store.

First up is a card that I made. I love the adorable teapot in this collection!

And did you know that you can make your own embellies using Samantha's new paper? These embellies can be added to your next scrapbook layout, card, or altered project. Here are some that I made using the Nautical Collection.

The creative team got to play with some other fab products this month too. To make the embellies I used some wonderful "Real Wood" paper from Creative Imaginations. To keep the embellies secure I used adhesive from Tombow.

This month Spellbinders is sponsoring the giveaway! Up for grabs is the Spellbinders Antique Frame & Accents and Nautical Frame & Accents. Comment on all the blogs on the hop to win. Winners will be announced on Samantha's Facebook page on June 18th.

A friend of mine is having a small wedding. I made this as the centerpiece for her bridal shower luncheon. Each lady attending will receive the little dress cards. The bride will write some kind words for each of her friends on the back.

I used one of the adorable fashion dress stamps from Rubbernecker Stamps

"Brush Gown with Ruffled Hem"
I also used some yummy "Shore" colored Twinery twine!

The Twinery is giving away the "I Dream in Color" Sampler Pack - (a $32 value). Rubbernecker Stamps is giving away a Gift Certificate. You must leave a comment on ALL the hop blogs by 11:59 p.m. EDT on June 8th to win!

More Time to Play!

Monday, June 4, 2012

Yep I'm officially off for the summer, and I actually got to sleep in for the first time in months!

Summer break is pure bliss for teachers. I'm so excited because I actually got to play in my craft room all day yesterday. I made tons of new projects. Here's a fun card for ya to start your Monday morning off with a smile.

Don'tcha just love that little birdie?

He's really an embellie for the "Smash" books, but I wanted to use him on my card instead. I also used some fun Nikki Sivils "Exit Here" woodgrain paper on the background of my card. I layered different paper and the birdie in the center.

I'm also linking this up to some fun challenges that I have not played with in a while:

and

So what do you all have planned this summer? My summer "to do list" is growing longer and longer each day....(smile)!

P.S. - I've got a fun Twinery project for ya tomorrow!

My Happy Number!

Thursday, May 24, 2012

This post is brought to you by...

The Number 5

I was born on the 5th of December and I am constantly making lists with only 5 things on it. I don't know why I have this obsession...but I do...LOL

Do you have a fun or unique obsession?
If so, I'd love to hear about it.

I made this fun little tag to hang in my craft room. I used some adorable Pretty Little Studio products too! When you have time you just have to check out their shop.

Here's what I used:

Fab twine from The Twinery
