Planner Love with SRM Stickers
Monday, September 7, 2015
Monthly planners are the "in thing" right now. They are so popular that I have been seeing some really cool ways to use them.
As a teacher, my days are filled with so many important things that I need to remember. I decided to make a teacher planner using SRM Stickers to help me stay organized this school year.
Let's take a look at one of my upcoming weeks!
I decided to go with a basic planner from Sugar Paper. They are an L.A. based company that specializes in notebooks and planners. I love the gold polka dots and pink font on this one.
And check out the fun school themed stickers. Teachers and parents will love using the Calendar Companion sticker set. They are just the right size to fit into your planner.
I also used the Sticker Stitches and the Stickers by the Dozen - Birthday Birdie on the page shown above. Both are great additions to your planner.
Every teacher needs a shiny red apple in their planner right?
I love the Quick Cards/Teacher sticker set.
And I have just discovered this cute "glue" Paper Pops from Paper Issues. It's just so cute and had to be added to my planner.
Hop on over to the SRM Stickers store. They have the cutest planner and calendar stickers. The new 2016 stickers are also available to those wanting to get a head start on the new year!
Project Life - That Coffee Life
Friday, September 4, 2015
I'm a coffee fanatic and just had to make a fun Project Life pocket page to add to my summer album.
I added some really fun elements to this one too!
Here's what I came up with...

Here's what I came up with...
I used more paper goodies from Webster's Pages for this one. I ordered them all from Paper Issues.
And check out the font and bokeh effect inside of my coffee cup. I added it using the Rhonna Designs app on my phone.
I love to add fun stuff to my photos before ordering my prints from Persnickety Prints.
I love the "Lucky Me" vellum piece from Webster's Pages. I always feel lucky when I'm enjoying my coffee!
I found the fun camera charm in the clearance section at Hobby Lobby. It was only $0.29 cents too!
I love to add fun pieces like this to my Project Life spreads.
And of course I needed a Starbucks sleeve for this page!
And here's more details about the vellum that I used on this page spread and this one here!
I'm having so much fun filling up my Summer album. I'll be sharing more pages soon!
Teacher Crafts that POP
Thursday, September 3, 2015
If you follow me on Instagram then you know that I have a new favorite craft item!
I just love the new Paper Pops that are now available at Paper Issues. The pencil and glue set spoke to my teacher spirit and I just had to order some.
Here's how I used it...
I made some gift bags for the fellow teachers on my team. I combined several of my fave products to make these.
First, I used the Craftwell Alpha embossing folder to make an alphabet designed background. I then added a fun image from The Greeting Farm.
The fun kraft bag is from SRM Stickers. I also added an "I Teach" sentiment using their Say it with Stickers/Teacher set.
And that Paper Pops pencil really does "pop" and adds a fun element to my bag.

Note to self: order more Paper Pops! They are sooo adorable!
I'm linking this up to the Paper Issues "You Rule the School" linky party!
And be sure to do something sweet for your child's teacher this year! It's one of the hardest and most rewarding jobs out there. Educators love to receive a little something to make them SMILE!
Project Life - Cool For the Summer
Tuesday, September 1, 2015
I'm still holding onto summer! I just didn't want it to end. At least I get to hold onto the memories by filling up my album with summertime photos!
Check out my new Project Life pocket page!
I used loads of paper and vellum from Webster's Pages for this one. I ordered all of these goodies from Paper Issues.
And check out the fun effects and font on my photos. I added text by using the Rhonna Designs app on my phone. Then I ordered all of my photos from Persnickety Prints.
The paper and vellum pieces coordinate so well with my photos.
My next task is to find the perfect summer themed album for all of my completed pages.
Be sure to stay tuned to the blog. My next Project Life spread will be dedicated to coffee. It's a fun one!
A Box Full of Handmade Cards
Sunday, August 30, 2015
Some of my friends are not crafty people. They always admire my handmade cards, so I decided to make them a set that they can share with others.
I created this project with the Anna Griffin Pretty Paintings card making kit and Xyron adhesive. This kit will be featured on HSN on September 8th.
Here's what I came up with!
I made a set of all occasion cards then place it in a clear container card box from SRM Stickers. I dressed up each card using the kit. I also used more of it to decorate the clear box.
Supplies you will need:
Xyron Creative Station and 3" Sticker Maker
Anna Griffin Pretty Paintings card making kit
SRM Stickers Clear Container
Step 1: Run a Anna Griffin card panel piece through the Xyron Creative Station.
Step 2: Peel off the top film. The back of the panel will be full of adhesive.
Step 3: Place the panel on the front of your SRM clear container.

Step 7: Slide each card into your clear container. Now you are ready to gift this to a friend.

Creating with Dies, Boxes, and Stamps
Wednesday, August 26, 2015
Of course I used some fun products from SRM Stickers.
Here's what I came up with...
My first creation is a Thank You Tag! I adhered a piece of canvas to a white tag to give it some texture.
Then I used SRM's wafer thin die to add a piece on top. This die coordinates with the mini calendar stickers, but can be used for other projects as well.
I stamped a sentiment and a flower using the Jane's Doodles "Fancy Doodles" stamp set.
I added a piece of washi tape to the bottom of the canvas piece as well. I brightened up my flower by adding a shiny gem to the center.
I also decorated an SRM kraft window box by adding more washi tape. Each box comes with a clear film piece that you can adhere to the inside of the box. This keeps the contents from falling out.
The tag and a gift card easily fit inside the box. It's so perfect for gift giving.
Be sure to check out the SRM store for more fun products!
Gift Bags Full of Beauty
Saturday, August 22, 2015
Happy Saturday! I wanted to share a fun craft project that I whipped up recently. I made these party favor bags for some sweet little ballerinas.
This idea came about after I saw my stack of kraft bags from SRM Stickers just sitting there on my supply table. I knew they would be a great item for a party.
I paired the kraft bags up with bright colored card stock from Fun Stampers Journey. I also inked up one of their stamps. This one is called Beauty Wings. I used the main image and the sentiment.
I also added some FSJ twine, sequins, and a doily from SRM Stickers.
I placed dance themed gift items inside each bag. The girls just loved them!
Don'tcha just love when a craft project makes someone SMILE!

School is Cool DIY Bags
Tuesday, August 18, 2015
And Xyron and Craftwell have teamed up all week to bring you loads of crafty inspiration!
Of course I'm using my Xyron Creative Station and a fun embossing folder from Craftwell to pull it all together!
Here's what I came up with!
Here are some easy instructions to make your own:
1. Grab your fave card stock and cut it down to size to fit in the embossing folder. Now run it through your embosser or die cutter.
2. Run your embossed piece through the Xyron Creative Station.
3. There is a cutter already built into the Creative Station. Just slide the blade across to easily cut off the piece that you need.
4. Remove the top film. The back of your paper will be full of adhesive.
5. Place your embossed piece onto the front of a paper bag.
6. Cut two circles using your die cutter. I used colors that fit in with the school theme of my project.
7. Run the circles through your Xyron Creative Station.
8. Layer the circles on top of your embossed piece.
9. Use a pre-cut star or make your own. I used one from Heidi Swapp. Add the word "school" using any type of sticker letters.
10. Fill your bag with school supplies such as pencils, highlighters, markers, and glue sticks.
Your kiddos will love this for the first day of school. You can also make these bags for your students if you are a teacher!
I just love the Craftwell Alpha embossing folder. The alphabet design is so perfect for school themed projects. Be sure to check out all of their products! You will love them!
And did you know that the Xyron Creative Station is now available at Jo-Ann's and Michael's? Be sure to grab one. They are so fun for crafting!
