Etsy Inspired #134 - Think Fast Designs

Saturday, April 9, 2011

I'm about to faint with all of the standardized testing we have going on right now at school. Pray for me....Summer break is almost here....LOL

At least I get to design for the wonderful Etsy Inspired Challenge. We have a lot of fun going on this week.

Our featured shop is:

This shop is owned by fellow crafter Kim Kesti and if full of beautiful aprons, quilts, jewelry and more!

And since I made some "food decor" this week, I'm also linking this up at Moxie Fab for their 350 Cards & Gifts Week: The Food Wraps Challenge.

I was inspired by the Modern Linen Apron pictured above. It has the cutest Kitchen Items on it.
Here's what I made:

I've been taking cake decorating classes at Michael's. I made these flat note cards to go along with yummy baked goods that I give as gifts to family & friends.

Here's a close-up shot of the pot and whisk.
I cut them out of patterned paper made by Little Yellow Bicycle.

Chocolate & Red are a great color mix!
I added brown ribbon & a fun sentiment.

Here's how you can play along with Etsy Inspired:
♥ Find an item that you like from Think Fast Designs.
♥ Create some cuteness!
♥ Link your creation up to EIC by Friday, April 15th.

Also, anyone that shops at Think Fast Designs gets 10% off this week by using the Discount Code "THINKFASTPLEASE".

Shop Prize: Vintage Pendant Necklace from Think Fast Designs.

Sponsor Prize: One Nikki Sivils "collection" pack (paper and embellies)!

Your card is so cute. It is fun to let the paper be the card. That is what the one I made today did.
