Hello Kitty Photo Blocks

Happy Monday everyone! I've got a fun Guest Designer spot coming up this week. I even got to design my own sketches for the first time. Be sure to stop back by to check them out.

Since it will be a busy week of designs here on the blog, I've decided to share my fun project today. I made this for Lessology Challenge #12 - The Photo Block Challenge.

My friend's brother is a carpenter, so he made these wooden boxes for me out of some extra wood pieces that he was going to throw away. This is my way of using recycled wood!

I made these Hello Kitty Photo Blocks for a friend who is expecting. The nursery is a Hello Kitty theme. Instead of using the baby's photo....I decided to use Hello Kitty's adorable face instead. I also made a coordinating card to go along with the gift.

I made these "Pencil Gift Boxes" using the Treat Box Die.

They are so super cute for teacher gifts, baby showers, or for any special occasion. I found the adorable mini wooden pencils at Michael's. And I added cutesy paper clips, binder clips, and peppermints to the inside of each box.

Peter Rabbit is Hopping to Town!

My design team term does not begin with Pretty Little Studio until March, but I'm hopping by today to give you a preview of some of their fun products.

Easter is coming up soon so I decided to make some fun "Bunny Bitty Bags". These are great to pass out to the kiddos at your Easter dinner celebration. If you add some small chocolate eggs inside each bag you will be a hit with your family! :)

Letterpress Friday!

I've been so geeky excited to show you all one of my letterpress creations.

I made this card using the L Letterpress by Lifestyle Crafts.

Here are some easy instructions on how to use the L Letterpress

1.) Open the L Letterpress and place an adhesive-backed printing plate on the clear lid.

2.) Ink the printing plate evenly with the brayer tool.

3.) Place paper in desired location on base of letterpress tool. (Use registration grid and Paper Placement Guides for greater accuracy and alignment)

4.) Close lid and roll L Letterpress through Epic tool. (For a deeper impression, add additional packing sheet)

I {Heart} To Travel

I'm having some fun today with Lessology Challenge #11 - Flights of Fantasy!

{Make a project that incorporates FLIGHT in an innovative way}

and

{include 1 recycled/upcycled item in your project}

I took a {recycled} kraft box and dressed it up for a friend who likes to travel. I got the wooden airplane at Michael's years ago and finally decided to use it. I added a circle of fun patterned paper and an "I heart travel" sticker to the top. The front of the box is dressed up with fun Really Reasonable Ribbon.

P.S. - A sweet blogger also urged me to link this up at Decorate to Celebrate since I incorporated "blue" into my project. :)
