Halloween Craft Favorites - Day 7

Saturday, October 18, 2014

Welcome to the last day of the "7 Days of Halloween Inspiration Event" brought to you by "The Inspiration Crew".

Thank you for sticking it out with me this week. I hope you were all inspired to create your own Halloween projects!

This post is dedicated to my fave Halloween projects that I have created over the years. Let's take a walk down memory lane!

I love this project that I created for The Twinery! Their baker's twine looks great on just about any project!

And this Halloween jewelry project will always be a favorite of mine. I used loads of Epiphany Crafts jewelry making supplies. The kiddos would love making this too!

And a gift card holder is a fun trick-or-treat for the kiddos. I used Doodlebug Design Halloween supplies on this one!

Burlap Bag Friday

Friday, January 31, 2014

I just love the new line of burlap and muslin bags from SRM Stickers.

Today I'd like to show you some fun way to dress them up.

They are so perfect for gifting!

My first bag features the We've Got Your Border Pastel stickers.

I also placed a sticker from this same set underneath the butterfly.

I used the new Take 2: Stickers By the Dozen - Birthday on my second bag.

And check out the green twine. You can also find it in the SRM shop.

You can use these bags in so many ways!

They are perfect for birthdays, weddings, baby showers, or any type of gifting.

Tips for crafting with burlap bags:

1. Staples are great to hold your embellishments to the bag.
{I stapled underneath the layers so that they are not visible on top}

2. Fabric glue is also great to use.

I'm linking this up to the Paper Issues Challenge - Fill 'Er Up!

SRM Products:
Medium Burlap Bags - #72002
Take 2: Stickers By the Dozen - #69002
We've Got Your Border Pastel - #57009
Solid Twine - Peapod - #16-68036

I used Epiphany Crafts Round 25 Metal Charms and Bubble Caps to make these. EC has the best products for jewelry projects.

Baker's Twine from The Twinery was also used. They have spools of twine that come in a variety of colors that coordinate well with any type of craft project.

The candy corn is from SRM Stickers. Be sure to check out their Stickers by the Dozen - Halloween. The pumpkin face is from Doodlebug Design - Halloween Parade

No Stamp Needed & A Winner!

Wednesday, January 23, 2013

It's been an exciting week in my family and I'm sooo behind on blog posts. So sorry for the delay in announcing the giveaway winner! Keep reading to the end to see who won!

And now I want to show you two fun projects featuring products from The Cutting Cafe!

Did you know that I have a crafting secret? Well...I'm going to confess it to you today. . . I'm not the greatest stamper! In fact, I have messed up loads of cardstock trying to get stamped images and sentiments done correctly.

That's why I love The Cutting Cafe's Valentine Mini Sentiments Printable Stamp Set. I can easily print out what I need and use it as background paper for cards, treat bags, and altered projects. It's so super easy and I don't have to deal with inky mistakes.

I first printed the sentiments out on white cardstock. I then used a shaped punch before adhering it to the treat bag and tin. I'm sending all of these treats to my daughter Rebekah and her college buddies in California. They love to get goodies in the mail.

Be sure to check out all of the fun printables at The Cutting Cafe. And now it's time to announce the giveaway winner.

Miriam Prantner said...
These are so cute! Love that they have the cork toppers and your decorations are so sweet, love the button centers to the flowers!

Congrats Miriam! I'll be sure to send you an email with the gift certificate details! Be sure to stop back by tomorrow for a little story about MIRACLES!

The Twinery - Halloween Treat & Mini Card

Wednesday, September 5, 2012

Happy middle of the week!

Don'tcha just love short work weeks? I sure do. It gets me closer to the weekend! :)

I'm happy to share my Twinery project with you all today. This one involves my fave fall treat - candy corn.

Here's a candy corn paper bucket made with the Twinery's "marigold" baker's twine. The bucket was made with the Lifestyle Crafts Bag die. I also used some Samantha Walker Designs paperSRM Halloween stickers for extra added fun.

Here's the mini card that goes with the set. I used the Twinery's charcoal twine. The metal framed witch sticker is from Creative Charms & the "spooky scary" sticker is from SRM.

I wrapped a lollipop stick with Twinery Twine as well and added another Creative Charms metal framed sticker.

Here's the set all together. It's super fun for Halloween gift giving.

Be sure to shop at The Twinery Store!

I Spy My Creations & Some News!

Wednesday, August 22, 2012

Hey there everyone! I wanted to pop in today to share some fun news with you all.

Be sure to read all the way to the end so that you don't miss out on all of the excitment.

Before I get to that, I first want to share some of my summer publications. It will never get old seeing my creations in print. I'm so excited to have projects in both the CARDS Magazine and Create Idea Book.

This is the project that is in the Create Idea Book - Stamping Magazine. This one may have came out before July, but I'm just now getting my hands on it. This project is in the - "My Favorite Stamp" section of the mag. I used my Stampin' Up stamp for these mini bags.

I also have several of my creations in the Cards Magazine - July issue.

I used a coffee filter to make the flower for this one.

This mini card set features yummy Twinery twine & Amy Tangerine products.

This one features the bicycle stamp from Hero Arts.
(Sweet Virginia Lu introduced me to their stamps & I'm hooked)

Thank you Cards & Create Magazine for featuring my projects!

And now for some FUN NEWS!!!!

I have been invited to be on the Clear Scraps design team. I will get to design with their fabulous acrylic mini albums, shapes, chipboard, and so much more. I can't wait to show you all of the fun projects that I have planned.

And  I'm so super excited to work with an awesome group of designers that are lined up for the new term. You can meet them on the Clear Scraps blog - {Here}
