Last Minute Craft Gift

Have you ever been caught needing a last minute gift? That's what happened to me this weekend.

There are always enough supplies to whip up "a quick something" when you are a crafter! Here's what I came up with! 

I started out with this kraft box that I picked up from Michael's.

It comes in a fun 3" x 3" size.

Guess what? I dressed this box up with a Project Life card. These cards can serve a variety of purposes outside of scrapbooking. 

I used a card from the Peace, Love, and Sunshine kit. 

I also used a butterfly punch to create my own little embellishment. A pop-dot was used on the butterfly to add dimension to the top.

Quick and easy and it took less than 5 minutes to whip up!

Flash Friday with the Blue Crew

It's Flash Friday ya'll! This is a fun challenge that originated with the Blue Crew over at The Little Blue House!

The LBH Media Team has a virtual craft session on the first Friday of every month. The challenge was to complete a layout in 30 minutes or less!

Here's my page! (I took this one out of the pocket photo sleeves to reduce the glare).

I decided to create another Project Life page. This type of pocket-page scrapbooking is PERFECT when you are in a time crunch. This page can be made in a flash.

I completed another page for my Comic Con album. There were so many people dressed in fun costumes. We even got to meet some celebrities too!

I used a mix of Teresa Collins Studio Gold with Heidi Swapp's Project Life products. 

And my daughter Rachel was lucky enough to meet this guy! Isn't he handsome? 

His name is Charles Michael Davis and he stars in the CW show - "The Originals"

Project Life: Comic Con Style

This past summer I had the pleasure of attending Comic Con in San Diego. What is Comic Con you ask? It is a HUGE convention that showcases everything from comics, movies, and television shows.

Every year that I've attended I have met my fave celebrities from television and movies. If you follow me on Instagram then you have seen all of the celebs that I got to meet and take photos with. 

Here is my first page commemorating my fun times at this event!

Here are a few close up shots. I ordered my photo prints from Kanvess. I love their 3" x 3" size. 

I made the super hero using my Silhouette Cameo. The super boy cut file is one of my faves!

Here's how it looks in the photo sleeve! I used the 8.5 x 11 photo sleeves from We R Memory Keepers. I love doing pages in this size. It makes it quick and easy to complete my albums.

I also used the Project Life - Heidi Swapp - Color Magic Value Kit.

Project Life in the New Year!

I am really loving Project Life lately! I even ordered a kit from Studio Calico to kick me into high gear of my goal of completing more pages in 2015. 

This is my first time ever ordering a kit. I really love that everything is all right there for me to work with. I used the Far, Far Away Kit . The colors, Project Life cards, and embellishments that come with this kit are fantastic.

I did add a canvas heart and SRM Stickers. That's the fun with Project Life. You can add a splash of embellies just about anywhere on the page. I also got this page done in minutes.

DIY Valentine's Day Mini Bags

Valentine's Day is right around the corner! It's time to start putting on our "crafty thinking caps" and come up with some fun ideas for our next big holiday. I thought I would share with you my quick and easy project that can be made in minutes. Here we go...

First, you will need the right supplies. I picked up most of these from Target and Michael's Craft Store. 

For an extra added touch I used dies and washi tape. Dies are great for any type of crafting, especially if you want to add different shapes and dimension to your project.

You can design these mini bags just about any way that you like. 
Just have fun with it. And get the kiddos involved too! They love making Valentine's Day goodies for their friends.

From Start to finish this is an easy and fun project that everyone can do! Stay tuned to the blog for more exciting projects for 2015.

I'm so happy to be back with all of you in blog land. I've taken the last couple of months to rest, recharge, and get ready for new and exciting things for Cokie Pop Paper.

I've been taking some graphic design and photography classes and will incorporate more of that on my blog as well.

I've also decided to only take on one design team this year so that I can focus on producing quality projects that I can take my time and enjoy making. I am so happy to create for a company that is based in my hometown of Texas! Yay for The Little Blue House! I am one of their newest media team members.

I also made more of these for a baby shower! Several of my Instagram followers asked if I would post more about it here on my blog. Here you go...

They are so easy to make too! Just grab some of these acrylic buckets from Michaels. 

Once you get them home, add your favorite material or scrapbook paper using liquid adhesive. Then decorate the outside using wood pieces, chipboard, or anything that you'd like. 

The dimensions of each acrylic bucket is different so just measure with your material/paper to get a snug fit.

Project Life Pages - I Take Pictures of my Food!

If you follow me on Instagram then you know that I love taking pictures of my food! 

I even use fun iPhone photo apps to make them look even more tasty. 

The Rhonna designs app is my all-time fave to use.

I recently printed all of my photos and made some fun Project Life pages using the Heidi Swapp Gold Foil kit. Here are a few peeks at some of the pages.

I love the pink and gold accents in this collection. Did you notice some fun additions to my pages? I added things like kraft bags, mini clips, doilies, and hemp twine to spruce them up a bit.
