I Love This The Most

Tuesday, October 22, 2013

I'm a tad bit obsessed with this type of crafting!

If you are a regular visitor to my blog then you probably agree!

"Gifting" is just the type of crafting that I love the most!

{confession - I'm really beginning to love creating layouts too!}

I made this one so that I can have extra gift items on hand for family and friends. It's always nice to give a "just because" gift.

I started out by using a Lifestyle Crafts die. I also used paper from Allison Kreft's - Recorded collection

I used a smaller die to make the "love this" tag. The tag paper is from Amy Tangerine's Cut and Paste. And the floral chipboard is from My Mind's Eye.

And guess what? - - - I'm playing along in the CAS-ual Fridays Tags & Bags challenge.

What type of crafting do you love the most?

It's All About The Sentiment

Sunday, June 2, 2013

I'm all for fast and stress free crafting. That's why I love to use sentiments that can be used for "Double Duty".

Let's examine the sentiment that I've used today and I can show you what I'm talking about.

The "what a wonderful day" sentiment can be used for many occasions.

I've made two cards to ...

1. Congratulate my friend on her job promotion

And...

2. To Celebrate my co-workers birthday

As you can see...it's really all about the sentiment.

I'm playing along in two fun challenges:

See ya back here tomorrow for the Paper Made Bakery Blog Hop!

Card Supplies:
Paper: Basic Grey - Hey Boy
Tag: American Crafts
Butterfly & Heart: Heidi Grace Desings
Sentiment Sticker: My Mind's Eye
Sequins: From stash

A 90's Inspired Thank You

Monday, February 11, 2013

Songs from 1990's are on my mind today!

I had so much fun watching the Grammy Awards last night. Hearing all of that great music made me think of all of my fave songs.

A song that I really love is one from 1998 by Dido. Remember her????? It's called "Thank You" . If you want to hear the song be sure to click "here" to view it on Youtube. It's a really beautiful and relaxing ballad that was popular way back then. Here are some of the lyrics...

And I want to thank you for giving me
The best day of my life
Ohh, just to be with you is having
The best day of my life

And since we are on the subject of songs...I'm entering this one over into the Cas-ual Fridays Challenge. I'm really having a whole lotta fun making CAS cards.

I used a birdie from 7 Gypsies and an SRM "Quick Card Thanks" sticker. I left a lot of white space on this one to really make the CAS design stand out more.

Now tell me...What is your fave song? And did you watch the Grammy's last night? I really loved Justin Timberlake's performance. I'm so glad to see him back in action!!!

Golf Clubs and Neckties!

Wednesday, May 30, 2012

Hope you all had a Happy Memorial Day!

I'm back with a fun card for Dad!

This one is a CAS design. I kept the necktie and the golf clubs as the focal point. I'm entering this one in the latest CAS-ual Fridays Challenge. I used some of the fab Samantha Walker Designs paper from Creative Imaginations too!

There are only 3 more days of school left until I'm off for the summer!

Be sure to stay tuned for more fun projects & summer giveaways!

Bowling Buddies & Burger Joints!

Monday, November 14, 2011

I've been making some fun tags to add to Christmas gifts for some buddies that love bowling and old fashion burger joints. I just love the nostalgic & classic look of the Echo Park - "Happy Days" paper & chipboard.

I'm linking up to the:

I'll be back later in the week with another hybrid project. And be sure to play along this week in LESSology's - The Hanging Mobile Challenge.
