Teachers are important because they teach and inspire our children. My son is in 1st grade this year and his teacher is wonderful. She is very focused on reading, which I love because I believe it is the foundation of learning. Learn to read, then read to learn. Thanks for the chance to win!

OH my goodness this is adorable. With out teachers we would be a very sad country. We wouldn't have the joy of reading and learning. Why get up if there isn't something new and wonderful to learn. Teachers teach us how to learn. I am so happy I could be a teacher for 30 years of my life.

I'm a 1st grade teacher so I think that teachers are VERY important to not only children but families as well. I think that without the wonderful teachers that I had growing up, I would not have been able to share the innate passion that I have for learning with the students who have crossed my path.

Simply Adorable!! I love the owl tag! I think teacher are important because education is the key to the future. And without great teacher what state would this country be in. The same kids that we teach today will someday be running this country.

To me my boys teachers are just as important as me as a parent. In reality the teacher and coaches get my sons more then I do during the school year. This is so cute Angi! i am sure the recipiet will love this :) I miss making cute gifts for my kids' teachers - now they are in middle school and high school and don't want to do it anymore. Teachers are important because are kids spend so much time with them and they have such a huge influence on them, for bad or good. We have loved so many of our teachers in the past - the elementary where me kids attended is full of fabulous teachers who will be lifelong friends to my kids and to me :) i am a new follower. I'm back. Thanks for visiting my blog. I'm a teacher. I think I'll say that I'm glad to be a teacher because it gives me a chance to change the world, one student at a time. Today was graduation day here. Four of my students graduated today, the biggest group I've ever had. And much to my surprise three of them received awards for improvement! That's awesome for special ed. students. I feel like I helped them take a big step into a successful future. What could be better than that? Lucky me!

Love the tag and owl! Teachers are so important for many reasons today. Not only do they teach our children about subjects but they also parent so many of the students that cross their paths. We have been so blessed with the most awesome teachers since my daughter started PreK in our district here in TX. There isnt a day that goes by that I dont thank God for each one of them. PS - My entire family is associated with teaching in one form or another so I am blessed twice over to be able to learn daily from my family as well. I think we all have an opportunity to learn and teach everyday if we look for those random times that God puts in front of us. I hope you have a blessed weekend filled with lots of love and fun.
