Bye Bye Birdie!

Monday, April 4, 2011

I'm soooo excited because in 2 weeks Rebekah will be home from college for her Spring Break. She's out in California going to school. Rachel and I miss her soooo much!

Here's a layout I made of her singing in the musical Bye Bye Birdie!

Here's my inspiration for this layout. It's from the fun challenge going on at Get Picky. I was inspired by the shades of pink, green, and butterflies in the photo.

I'm also linking this up at Lasting Memories
and Paper Issues for their Spring Theme Challenges.

I cut the tree from another piece of patterned paper.
I added the cutest felt birdies and a butterfly to the tree.

My fave photo is of Bekah being swooned by the rock star in the musical. The photo really stands out against the polka dot fabric, fun yellow trim, and puffy alphas.

Here's Bekah out front letting her STAR SHINE BRIGHT! She has the most beautiful singing voice. (and I'm not just saying that cause I'm a proud mama!) LOL

I added another butterfly and buttons to the side of the photos to add more cuteness.

I'll be back on Wednesday with another fun project.

Layout Supplies:
Patterned Paper (MME - 29th St. Market - Fresh Beauty" Greenery Paper); Patterned Paper (Echo Park - Life is Good - Seeing Spots); Felt Embellies (K.I. Memories); Polkadot fabric trim (Bo Bunny); Yellow Trim (Bo Bunny); Buttons (Basic Grey); Butterfly (from stash)
