Happy Coffee Days!

Wednesday, February 9, 2011

I'm glad that everyone had fun with my "Slug Bug" layout yesterday. Love that game! Today is a card day!

I'm sooo trying to stay away from coffee these days. It's kinda hard when I get to play with the cute "Coffee? Tea?" stamp set from My Favorite Things Stamps

This card is for the sketch challenge we have going on over at Papercraft Star. I hope you will join us for some fun this week.

Here's the sketch from Liz Chidester:

I had fun using the sketch. I even incorporated stickers behind the stamped image, on the sentiment, and on the scallop border. I also used some cute "Play Date" paper from Stampin Up!

I hope you all enter the challenge. We have great prizes up for grabs! Copic Markers is our Grand Prize sponsor this month.
Also, if you want to see the complete line of CUTE My Favorite Things Stamps click HERE

Our challenge closes Saturday at noon (EST). Voting continues through Monday by midnight !! We are looking forward to seeing your take on our sketch this week!

Card Supplies:
Patterned Paper (Stampin Up! - Play Date Designer Series Paper); Stickers (Echo Park - Sweet Summertime); Button Paperclip (KI Memories); Markers (Michael's Craft Store)

I love the way you used the button and paper clip together. That looks so sharp! I also love the little asymmetrical mat behind the image. Great card! (I had wanted to play with the Papercraft Star challenge this week but had no crafting time at all!)
