It's a holiday for card makers around the world to celebrate the creativity of handmade cards and the personal connection that they create between friends and family. Here's a card in honor of this special day. I've entered it in several fun challenges today too.
I'm a Language Arts teacher so Reading and Child Literacy is important to me. That's why I had to join in on the fun challenges going on over at Frosted Designs this week.
You are supposed to design a project based on inspiration from a book. I love the "Junie B. Jones" children's book series and used it as inspiration for my card.
Junie always wears the cutest little dresses and tights.
When I saw this little dress from Jolee’s Boutique, I knew that I had to use it on my card.

So sweet! Junie B is some girl! I was always afraid to read it to my first grade for fear they would all want to act like her. I did have a girl I know the book was written after. She was a trip.
