Turning Scraps Into Sweet Gifts

Tuesday, January 7, 2014

Today is an exciting day!

It's my very first official project for Imaginisce!

(I'd love it if you'd pop on over there and leave me some crafty love.)

http://www.imaginisceblog.com/

Here's the crafty question for the day...

Do you hold onto your paper scraps? I sure do!

I never want to get rid of my Imaginisce scraps. The paper is too bright and happy to just toss away. I've been busy stocking up on handmade gifts that I've made for my fellow teachers.

I found this mini chalkboard at my local craft store. I began to dress it up by placing paper around the frame. I then ran some scraps through my die-cutter and made a flower. I layered pieces and added it to the bottom of the frame. I also added an Imaginisce sticker to the top of the board.

This gift would not be complete without a handmade card. I combined both Imaginisce and American Crafts products for this happy design.

Stay tuned to the blog for more new Imaginisce projects!
I can't wait to show you the new goodies for 2014!

Supplies:
Imaginisce: patterned papers (Endless Summer, Falling Leaves Bushel O' Fall)
Imaginisce: Just Be Little Icons
Imaginisce: Colors of Christmas Bling
American Crafts: Everyday collection - pretty bows
American Crafts: Thickers
Dies: Lifestyle Crafts

Very nice use of your scraps. I hope to use up some of my leftover pp too. I have so much I would rather use it but if not I will recycle it.

So cute. I recently bought some smaller punches so that I can punch my smaller pieces of scrap paper for embellishments such as flowers buttons, circles etc.
