Today starts a fun challenge, but it brings and end to one of my FAVES in blog land. It's the very last Etsy Inspired Challenge. For details please read the EIC post today.

Before I get to that I wanted to let ya know about this week's shop and my project. We are featuring "Homes & Weddings". They offer stylish wedding and party decor.

I was inspired by this item & all of the yummy cupcakes that fellow DT member Savannah has been featuring on her blog.

My project - "Cupcake in a Box"
I love to bake & whipped up more cupcakes.
(tip: for more fluffiness add butter to store bought cake mix).

The kraft box is from Michaels & the chipboard cupcakes are from goodies that I received from Glue Dots. I added a doily to the box for more fun. They yummy ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon. And a popsicle stick is holding up the chipboard in the cupcake..whew.. :)

I have had sooooo much LOVE for the Etsy Inspired Challenge and the concept of it. It has always been my all time FAVE!

These ladies are not only talented but they have been great cheerleaders, offer great crafty advice, and are so super sweet & understanding of family commitments. I [heart them] them all to pieces.

Ashley & De are two wonderful design team leaders. Thank you both sooooo much for all of your kind words and support.

Also sending hugs to Jackie, Emily, Kerry, Ruby, Carole, Sherry, Joy...and my two dearest EIC buddies Savannah & Virginia. I'm such a geeky fan of their work. :)

Since this is the very last EIC Challenge I'd love for all of my bloggy friends to enter. You have 2 weeks to create a project. The due date is - July 1st.

Friendly Smile & Pubs

Tuesday, June 14, 2011

My Dear Daughter Rebekah is home from college for the summer. Woo Hoo!  Gotta hurry and post this so we can get our fun day started.

The UPS guy knocked on my door a couple of days ago. I tore open the box...and immediately created this page. The paper is from my winnings from SRM Stickers. Love this new paper by Bazzill called Grandma's Feather Bed.

I used the fun Sketchy Thursdays Sketch

"Friendly Smile"
Sarah & Talia have been friends with Rachel since elementary school.
All the girls are in high school now.
I hope their friendship lasts a lifetime. :)

Love this hand sewn tag by Amy Tangerine

I also have several projects in the June issue of Scrapbook News & Review.
Lots of goodies in this issue. Check it out. :)

RRR & Flower Soft Blog Hop

Monday, June 13, 2011

Welcome to the Really Reasonable Ribbon and Flower Soft Blog Hop. You should have arrived from Gina's Blog.

My two projects include the RRR - June Ribbon Club Assortment and some fun Flower Soft Ultra Fine STRAWBERY Sprinkles.

Flower Soft is not like flock or glitter. It is not static and can be poured directly from the jar onto your project. It offers a fun pop of color, texture, and dimension to your crafts.

If you are having a Summer Party - How about making these cute cards for each of your guests? They will surely bring a "SMILE" to their faces.

And I also dressed up some kraft bags.
So perfect for adding festive straws, candy, or other treats.

Remember the hop starts at the Flower Soft Blog - HERE

and ends at the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog - HERE

And now please hop on over to Dina's Blog next and make your way back to the last stop - the RRR Blog. You will have a chance to win not one....but FOUR AWESOME Prizes. Winners will be announced on June 20th.

Happy Hopping!

The Marketing Diva!

Thursday, June 9, 2011

I have a bloggy friend who is a "Marketing Diva".

Yes, yes...she loves to suggest products to me.
Then I run to the store and go crazy mad and buy it all.
She first got me started on SRM Stickers....Now I'm hooked.

Now she is having a challenge on her blog that features:

Here's my card using the "Bicycle" stamp.
(I'm not good at coloring so I love stamps that don't
 necessarily require coloring)

I used Stampin Up! Tempting Turquoise Ink to add color to the bicycle.

I also added some red Jute ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon

I was inspired by this on Pinterest

Who is this Marketing Diva?

It's my bloggy friend - SWEET Virginia Lu

P.S. She even told me where to buy the stamps (at Michael's).

And...she told me to use a coupon. LOL

You gotta just love Virginia.
I wonder what product she will have me try next? LOL

And check out her blog and challenge when you have time.
She's a card making DIVA!

http://virginialusblog.blogspot.com/

My credit card company thanks you Virginia.
Gotta get more of these Hero Arts Stamps.

(P.S.S. - Do I need to make the project pics smaller on my blog? I kept the ones on this post bigger. Please compare to the size of the ones on the post below this one? What do ya think?)
