A Charming Frame

Wednesday, December 14, 2011

Have you ever created something and just
didn't like the end result?

Well...that's what happened to me when I made a frame for LESSology Challenge #8 - Frame of Life. I made a different frame than the one you see here today. After staring at the original one for hours, I decided that I really didn't like it very much. {LOL}

Here's my frame design re-do!
{I like this one much better!}

My flowers had missing pearls, so I recycled some and added them to the middle of each bloom. The ribbon that I used was ripped in the middle. I used some extra thread that I had lying around to patch it up for this frame.

The frame is from Ikea. The beautiful birdcage paper & brad are from My Mind's Eye - Blush "Beautiful Girl" collection.

Be sure to stop by the LESSology blog to enter this fun contest. You have until December 25th to link up your entries. We have a fabulous prize pack from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Angi what a lovely frame. You did a great job as usual, with the type of work you do I can't imagine the other frame not being "show worthy" Great work Angi thanks for the inspiration.

Oh so beautiful! And I know what you mean. That happens to me a lot. But boy when it all comes together and just flows out of you it is amazing. I made a book for a friend today and that is what happened. It is like someone else is taken over.
The end result is beautiful. I would love to see what you rejected. I'll bet is wasn't as bad as you thought.
Hugs,
Linda

I do know what you mean about projects though. I made a card the other day and don't like it at all!
