Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a Blessed 4th of July holiday. It's time once again for Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #17. This week's challenge is called Creepy Crawlers. Your are to create a card, layout, or altered item with your Cricut using any type of bug and include the color "orange" somewhere on your project.
For my take on the challenge I made a "Candy Centerpiece" using one of the new Cricut Lite cartridges called "Live Simply".
I added Stickles to bling it up a bit. I also used orange colored straws and pop dots to make the bees stand up in the glass jar. The flowers are so thick and the dots keep falling off today so I ended up sewing the flowers together to make them sit straight and centered.
I'm going to sit this on my desk on the first day of school. My students love to snack on Skittles so this will be useful to me all year long.
I also wanted to enter this in the "Favorite Things" and "Sew and Sew" challenge. I love, love, love Skittles (especially the yellow ones). I also love to create with flowers and Stickles. Love that bling! (Smile)

Angi, this is FANTABULOUS!!!!! I am loving the little cricut lite's! I don't have this one yet, but look at your little fun centerpiece! The yellowjacket is our school mascot, I may have to create one of these for our first day back to school (as teachers...we go back three days before the kiddos). Great job!!!!
