At The Cokie Pop Paper Boutique I use the Cricut Expression in some of my designs and for my own personal craft projects.

So what is all the hoopla surrounding these machines? And what are the major differences?
The main issue is “CARTRIDGES”. The biggest difference between the Cricut Expressions and the Quickutz Silhouette is cartridges. With the Silhouette there are no external cartridges required. You simply connect the Silhouette to your computer and use your existing fonts or images. Should you desire to purchase designs and other items, you can. But the key is that you don't have to.
The Slice made by Making Memories is unique in it's own way too. It weighs less than two pounds and is easily portable. And because it's cordless you can cut anywhere on any size media. It's definitely a machine for the “on-the-go” crafter.
So please share your comments below with us? Which do you like better and Why?
Now you know me I LOve the cricut and am going to get the slice. i have never really got on the wave of the quickutz silhouette. it is nice (silhouette) if only for the house and not for travel. Love ya :-)
I had not heard of QuicKutz SIlhouette, but I think that sounds ideal!
I don't have any either of the others. I have looked at a Cricut though.

I own a Cricut Create and use it with Sure Cuts a lot and love it! Small investment for a huge return. Very impressed by the different crafting mediums you can cut and how quick it is to do. I have used the slice and was initially in love, but for the price, compared to the Cricut Create, I prefer the Cricut. It is portable and takes up very little space, prefect for taking to a scrapbook or crafting crop. I use alot more paper embellishments since purchasing it and a lot less money spent on premade embellishments.
Great blog, and etsy shop!
Thanks for checking out mine.

I have never heard of the silhouettes machine, but I think it would be cheaper to have a machine in which you can design from your computer and not buy cartridges. Does anyone know how much that machine runs? I don't like the slice because I'm lazy and I don't like holding it while it cuts :)
