I Really Need to Focus on Christmas...but...

Thursday, October 24, 2013

Every year I promise myself the same thing!

I will get my Christmas cards done early!

This plan is not working out for me once again.

Sigh...

I live in a warm weather state, so it's really hard for me to create when there's still humidity in the air.

Spring is also my fave time of year!

Birdies and flowers are constantly on my brain!

More sighing...

Please send a cool breeze my way.

Perhaps that will get me back on track with my Christmas card making.

P.S. I used paper from  Imaginisce - "Endless Summer". {Isn't it ironic that I used paper with this title?} The sweet little birdie & the "friends" sticker are from their "Childhood Memories" collection. And the beautiful bloom is from Martha Stewart Crafts.

Lol about Christmas cards. This is such a cute card. I think you could modify it with a Christmas bird. ;)

LOL... I've given up. I don't even pretend like I'm going to make Christmas cards anymore. Maybe a special one, here or there, but no large quantities for mailing. I love your use of felt on this card. Very, very cute!

This is super-cute!
I can't seem to get into the mood to do Christmas either. And I'm not one who normally procrastinates. I'll be in panic mode once December is here. But meanwhile, I'm going to enjoy my own endless Summer. Thanks for sharing such a sweet project. It's uplifting.
